NADC at the National Drainage Show 2022 at ExCel, London (Pt 1)

Thank you to all who came to the National Drainage Show this year (co-located with Floodex). The show was held on 23rd and 24th November at ExCel in London.

We had a stall there and we had many conversations with people over the weekend and welcomed some new members!

Next to our stall we had the NADC Drainage Theatre, in which we had several talks including:

  • Lucy Ritchie of Energy and Utility Skills, who was giving a talk on ‘The Importance of Training & Qualifications’;

  • The Launch of the First National Drainage Awards presented by Mike Ockenden;

  • ‘Introduction of Apprenticeships in the Drainage Industry presented by Caroline Costelloe, Senior Product Manager Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education. Caroline was joined by Paul Carter, Skills Engagement Manager, Energy & Utility Skills. Bruce Taylor, DAMM Environmental and NADC Board Member plus many more – click here to see the full break down of both days.

And last but not least – we held a networking event after the National Drainage Show had finished on the 1st day, beginning at 5:15pm – featuring boxing legent Frank Bruno! Here is a VERY sneak peek of the event! We will be posting a part 2 blog post for the networking event (as there are just so many photos!) – WATCH THIS SPACE!

Thanks again to everyone who attended over the 2 days!
