The Housing Studies Charitable Trust announces the two recipients of its inaugural Early Career Housing Researcher fellowships

The Housing Studies Charitable Trust is delighted to announce the two recipients of its inaugural Early Career Housing Researcher fellowships. Anna Pearce will be hosted by the University of Stirling and mentored by Professor Kim McKee and Professor Alex Marsh.  Anna will be examining how the creation of housing legislation in Scotland is shaped by the assumptions and conceptualisations of the solicitors and parliamentary drafts people involved.

Pratichi Chatterjee will be hosted by the University of Sheffield and mentored by Professor Ryan Powell and Professor David Robinson. Pratichi will develop a historical account of how racializing logics have operated in housing delivery and their material outcomes and legacies.

Professor Alex Marsh, Chair of the Housing Studies Charitable Trust, said: "We are delighted that we have been able to appoint two very impressive fellows and support such exciting and innovative projects. We recognise the very significant challenges currently facing early career housing researchers and we will continue to identify ways that the Trust can seek to support them."
